Viet Nam to donate 200 ventilators to help Laos fight COVID-19

Vietnamese Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long announced the above decision during his online working session with Lao counterpart Bounfeng Phoummalaysith on Thursday.

Nguyen also said the ministry will send experts to assist Laos in setting up a rapid test system.

He took the occasion to share Viet Nam’s experience in containing the pandemic, including establishment of field hospitals, treatment of seriously ill patients, remote medical consultation, and expansion of diagnosis capacity, among others./.
