Le said, the visit has opened up new directions for cooperation between Viet Nam and all three regional partners amid the complex and evolving global landscape.
During the visit, a key highlight was the address delivered by the top Vietnamese leader at the Shangri-La Dialogue, attended by around 500 delegates from more than 40 countries.
His keynotes on international and regional peace and security clearly showed Viet Nam's views on the current global situation and the challenges facing the international community.
The tour also conveyed a strong message about Viet Nam's development aspirations toward its key regional partners, while clearly presenting the country's strategic thinking, development needs, and future direction in the new era.
The tour further reaffirmed Viet Nam's consistent policy of attaching great importance to relations with its neighboring countries and ASEAN member states as well as demonstrated the nation's proactive, active, and responsible role in working with ASEAN countries to strengthen solidarity, enhance the bloc's centrality, and maintain peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region.
Another notable outcome of the tour was the significant consolidation of political trust between Viet Nam and the three countries.
During the tour, Viet Nam has advanced its Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Thailand, elevated strategic cooperation with Singapore via the establishment of a strategic dialogue mechanism between the two ruling parties, and upgraded its relationship with the Philippines to an enhanced strategic partnership, underlined the top Vietnamese diplomat.
The comprehensive outcomes achieved during the trip will inject new momentum and open up a new chapter in the development of the friendly and cooperative relations between Viet Nam and Thailand, Singapore, and the Philippines, stated Le./.
