In June alone, 13,060 guest workers were sent abroad under official labor contracts. Japan was the leading destination with 5,338 workers, followed by Chinese Taipei with 6,074 and South Korea with 673.
In the January-June period, Japan remained the top importer of manpower from Viet Nam, receiving more than 35,240 workers, followed by Taiwan with 28,206 and South Korea with over 5,650.
