Viet Nam reports additional 2,197 COVID-19 cases
VGP - The Ministry of Health reported 2,197 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, raising the national caseload to 11,401,597.

The number of daily new COVID-19 cases from March 1-August 28, 2022
The same day, additional 13,939 patients were declared free of the virus, taking the total number of recoveries at 10,140,204.
The ministry also announced further one fatality, bringing the nation's COVID-19 death toll to 43,111 or 0.4 percent of the national caseload.
The nation has administered 255,563,861 COVID-19 vaccine doses so far, an increase of 374,992 doses from Friday./.
