Viet Nam reports 40th Coronavirus-related death
VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed the 40th Coronavirus-related death this afternoon, the 5th death over the last week

The deceased patient is a 70-year-old woman who had suffered from diabetes for the past 21 years and cerebrovascular accident.
On May 3, she was admitted to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District where she was diagnosed with hypertension, fever, diabetes.
Two days later, she tested positive for COVID-19 and was taken to extensive care unit but her health conditions deteriorated.
She passed away on May 20./.
