Viet Nam reports 161,501 COVID-19 cases
VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed additional 161,501 COVID-19 cases on Friday, raising Viet Nam's COVID-19 patient tally to 8,761,252.

The same day, the ministry reported 175,540 new recoveries, taking the total number of recovered cases to 5,001,564.
It also announced further 51 fatalities, bringing the nation's COVID-19 death toll to 42,196 or 0.5 percent of the national caseload.
The nation has administered 204,566,009 COVID-19 vaccine doses, an increase of 344,321 doses from Thursday./.
