Viet Nam receives 50,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses donated by Austria

Speaking at the vaccine handover ceremony, Do expressed thanks to Austria for gifting Viet Nam with COVID-19 vaccine and medical supplies, thus helping the Southeast Asian country improve the quality of health service.

For his part, Austrian Ambassador to Viet Nam Hans-Peter Glanzer spoke highly of Viet Nam’s achievements in its vaccination campaign.

Viet Nam has received 135 million COVID-19 vaccine doses so far. As many as 100,862,898 vaccine doses were administered, with 36,095,377 people fully vaccinated./

As of November 16, Viet Nam confirmed 1,045,397 COVID-19 cases, including 870,997 recoveries and 23,270 fatalities.
