According to the website, fall sees Viet Nam in its prime. Ha Noi cools down, making it a pleasure to explore its winding, invigorating streets.

Dreamy Ha Long Bay (in the northern province of Quang Ninh) is at its clearest and the warm waters are perfect for a dip, noted the magazine, suggesting visitors head to the cascading rice terraces in Sapa (in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai) and Ha Giang (in the northern mountainous province of Tuyen Quang) and find them turning a mesmerizing golden hue in time for the rice harvest.

"Further south, warmer temperatures are balanced by rain, but don't let a little unpredictable weather stop you from experiencing one of the most magical countries in the world. With an umbrella to hand, you can still slurp pho on bustling street corners in Ha Noi, ride motorbikes through Ho Chi Minh City and bike through the countryside around historic Hoi An", the website highlighted.

Viet Nam welcomed around 17.7 million international visitors in the first nine months of 2026, up 14.5 percent year-on-year, according to the National Statistics Office (NSO).
