Viet Nam National Trade Repository makes debut

The portal, hosted the Vietnamese Ministry of Trade and Industry, provides public access to Viet Nam's commitments under free trade agreements and tax rates under these trade pacts; regulatory documents related to trade; customs procedures; best practices on trade facilitation among others.

The launch of the portal is indicative of Viet Nam's commitment to enhance transparency of the country's trade policies and support businesses to easily get access to regional countries' trade policies.

British Minister of State for Asia and the Middle East Amanda Milling said the portal would help micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises benefit from cross-border trade and boost trade and investment in Viet Nam./..
