These agreements span various domains, including security, trade and investment, visa exemption for holders of ordinary passport, and animal quarantine.
During their summit meeting held earlier the same day, the two Presidents agreed that both countries will strive to double trade value in the time to come, increase scholarships, expand traditional medicine cooperation, and promote people-to-people exchanges.
On multilateral aspect, the two leaders agreed to continue close coordination and mutual support at international and regional forums such as the United Nations, Non-aligned Movement, ASEM, ASEAN Regional Forum, and UNESCO.
They underscored the importance of ensuring peace, security, safety and freedom of navigation and aviation in the East Sea as well as the peaceful and stable environment.
The pair also underlined the importance of settling maritime disputes through peaceful measures, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the relevant countries in line with international law, including the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea./.
