Viet Nam, India sign nine cooperation documents

VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi witnessed the signing ceremonies of nine cooperation documents in the fields of health, law and justice, diplomacy, human resource training, agricultural science, radio and television, tourism and culture on August 1 in New Delhi.

The documents included the Plan of Action for the implementation of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership during the 2024-2028 period between the Republic of India and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam;

The MoU for cooperation in Customs Capacity Building between the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs of India and the General Department of Viet Nam Customs, Viet Nam;

The MoU between Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Manipur and Viet Nam Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Ha Noi, Viet Nam for cooperation in Agricultural Research and Education;

The MoU between the Ministry of Justice of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Ministry of Law and Justice of the Republic of India on cooperation in the legal field;

The MoU between Prasar Bharati, New Delhi, India and the Voice of Viet Nam (VoV), Ha Noi, Viet Nam for cooperation on Radio and Television;

Two Dollar Credit Line Agreements between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam represented by the Ministry of Finance and Export-Import Bank of India, amounting to US$300 million;

The Letter of Intent between the Government of the Republic of India and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam for the conservation and restoration of F Block in My Son, Quang Nam Province, Viet Nam;

The MoU between the Traditional Medicine Administration Ministry of Health of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the National Medicinal Plants Board, Ministry of Ayush of Government of the Republic of India on cooperation in the Field of Medicinal Plants;

The MoU between the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways of the Republic of India on Cooperation and Development of the National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) at Lothal, Gujarat.

On this occasion, the two sides adopted a Joint Statement on strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The two Prime Ministers pressed the button inaugurating the Military Software Park in Nha Trang city./.
