Viet Nam has three new billionaires on Forbes list

VGP - Viet Nam has three new billionaires, bringing the country’s total to eight, according to Forbes' Real-Time Billionaires rankings.

The new entrants are Pham Thu Huong (estimated net worth of US$2.2 billion) and Pham Thuy Hang (net worth estimated at US$1.5 billion), both vice chairwomen of conglomerate Vingroup, and Ngo Chi Dung (with an estimated fortune of US$1.1 billion), chairman of Viet Nam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank).

Vingroup chairman Pham Nhat Vuong remains the country's richest individual, with a net worth of US$21.1 billion, although this figure has declined by more than US$7 billion compared with the end of last year.

Forbes' real-time rankings are primarily based on publicly listed shareholdings and market prices at a given point in time. The rankings also take into account assets such as stakes in private companies, real estate, artworks, yachts and other investments./.
