Viet Nam expresses deep concern over Hamas-Israel violence

She called on parties concerned to exercise restraint, refrain from taking actions that complicate the situation, promtply resume negotiations to settle disagreements through peaceful measures, on the basis of international law and related resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, and ensure safety and legitimate interests of civilians.

The number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip has risen to 256 and about 1,800 others were wounded, reported Qatar's news channel Al Jazeera. 

Israel’s military says at least 26 soldiers were killed in the unprecedented Hamas attack on the country’s south. In all, at least 300 Israelis have been killed, according to local media reports./.
