Viet Nam documents 2,013 new COVID-19 cases

VGP - The Ministry of Health confirmed 2,013 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, raising the national caseload to 11,441,626.

The ministry said there were 15,134 new recoveries, taking the total number of recovered cases to 10,337,137.

There was one more death recorded over the last 24 hours, bringing the nation's COVID-19 death toll to 43,130 or 0.4 percent of the national caseload, according to the ministry.

The Southeast Asian nation has administered 258,694,921COVID-19 vaccine doses, an increase of  97,751doses from Sunday.

As part of the country's reopening of borders, Viet Nam has allowed quarantine-free entry since March 2022 and resumed its pre-pandemic visa policies.

It has also done away with Covid-19 testing requirements./.
