Viet Nam, China reinforce collaboration to ensure security, maintain political stability

They vowed to effectively carry out commitments and shared understandings reached between the top leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, as well as the signed bilateral cooperation documents in the fields of security and law enforcement.

Both sides pledged to enhance collaboration in upholding political stability and ensuring the lawful rights and interests of citizens of both countries, share experience, carry out joint high-intensity campaigns to combat transnational crime.

They underlined the need to promote the important role of ministerial- and deputy ministerial-level cooperation mechanisms, expand cooperation at the departmental level and among local police forces and strengthen mutual support in training and capacity-building of personnel.

Following the conference, three cooperation documents were signed, including the minutes of the 9th ministerial conference on crime prevention and control, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on security protection, and a MoU on counterterrorism cooperation between the two ministries./.
