Leaders of U.S. government agencies affirmed that the U.S. considers Viet Nam a key partner in the region, agreeing that the relationship between the two countries receives the support of both Democrats and Republicans.
The two sides agreed that the Viet Nam - US Comprehensive Partnership had developed positively in various fields over the past years.
They vowed to ramp up bilateral cooperation in the economy, climate change response, green energy, education - training, settlement of war consequences, people-to-people exchanges, and joint efforts to solve global problems.
Besides, leftist friends and those from the Communist Party USA also spoke highly of Viet Nam's development achievements and voiced their support for Viet Nam and the development of Viet Nam – U.S. relations.

For his part, the Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations, Le Hoai Trung, affirmed that Viet Nam attaches great importance to relations with the U.S.
He suggested that the two sides continue implementing the outcomes of the phone talks between Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Joe Biden, increasing high-level exchanges and contacts and improving the efficiency of bilateral cooperation through Party channels, State diplomacy and people-to-people exchanges.
