On Ha Noi-Munich air route, there are two flights per week, departing Ha Noi for Munich on Fridays and Sundays, using modern wide-body aircraft Boeing 787.
For Ho Chi Minh City-Munich route, there is one flight per week, departing Ho Chi Minh City for Munich on Tuesdays.
With the new air routes, Viet Nam Airlines currently operates 14 flights per week connecting Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City with Munich and Frankfurt.
The new routes mark a special milestone in Viet Nam Airlines' journey to expand its network of international destinations and open up new opportunities for advancing tourism and trade between the two countries, said Viet Nam Airlines Executive Vice President Nguyen Duc Canh.
Munich is one of Europe's major economic, cultural, and tourism hubs, and Viet Nam Airlines sees this not only as a strategic destination but also as a promising market, he said.
