The Venezuelan President made the remark during talks with Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang who is on an official visit to the Latin American country.
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro Moros was convinced that the official visit would open up a new cooperative period between the two countries as they are celebrating the 35th anniversary of their bilateral diplomatic relations (December 18, 1989-2024) and 17 years of comprehensive partnership (2007-2024).
In reply, Deputy Prime Minister Tran congratulated Venezuela on the achievements attained. He said he believes that under the leadership of the United Socialist Party (PSUV) and President Maduro, Venezuela would continue to succeed in the cause of developing the country and enhancing its status in the international arena.
President Maduro affirmed that he would push Venezuelan ministries, sectors and localities to accelerate negotiations for cooperative deals and implement specific projects with Viet Nam.
The Venezuelan Government pledges to create the best ways for Vietnamese investors to do business in Venezuela, he added.
The two sides agreed to prepare for upcoming visits of respective senior leaders of the two countries and early convene the fourth meeting of the Viet Nam-Venezuela Inter-Governmental Committee and work closely at regional and international forums.
The two governments also agreed to stand by businesses to facilitate cooperative projects especially in such areas as petroleum, agriculture, telecom and construction.
On this occasion, the pair witnessed the signing ceremony of five cooperative documents including the Action Plan to implement agricultural development cooperation between the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Venezuelan Ministry of Agriculture and Land in the 2024-2030 period, the Memorandums of Understanding and Letters of Intent for cooperation between businesses of the two countries in the fields of oil and gas, petrochemical refinery, telecommunications and production of building materials.
*Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang met Vice President and Minister for People's Power for the Interior, Justice and Peace Admiral Remigio Ceballos, Minister of the Office of the Presidency Jorge Márquez, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela Yvan Gil, Minister of Housing and Habitat Ildemaro Villarroel, and Petroleum Minister Pedro Tellechea.
