US cuts anti-dumping tariff on Vietnamese shrimp

VGP - The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the sixth preliminary results of administrative review (POR6) on Vietnamese frozen shrimp exported to the country from February 1, 2010 to January 31, 2011.

Accordingly, the new anti-dumping tariff on the Minh Phú and Nha Trang Seafood companies will fall to zero percent, while Camimex will pay 0.8% and others will be liable for 1.03%.

This is the third adjustment of anti-dumping tariffs on Vietnamese shrimp.

Last year, the US is the second largest shrimp importer of Việt Nam with US$558.5 million trade volume./.
