The Paris-based multinational market research and consulting firm reported that 41% of customers responded that 20% of their incomes were reduced. Especially, 17% of low-income households reported that a half of their incomes were cut by the pandemic.
Although the COVID-19 outbreak has been put under control, Vietnamese people were convinced that their difficulties still lie ahead. Up to 30% of customers responded that their incomes would not be improved in the coming time. So it is unable for them to resume previous spending habits.
The survey founded that 23% of Vietnamese customers said that they had no plans to re-join activities in public places or involving a lot of people./.
