Two new Vice Chairmen of Central Policy and Strategy Commission announced
VGP – The Politburo has appointed Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son as new Vice Chairman of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission.

The Politburo also appointed Vice Chairman of the Government Office Nguyen Sy Hiep as new Vice Chairman of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission.
Both Nguyen Kim Son and Nguyen Sy Hiep are members of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.

The Central Policy and Strategy Commission, currently led by Politburo member and Chairman Nguyen Thanh Nghi, is an advisory organ of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, responsible for drafting major orientations, strategies and policies for socio-economic development.
The Committee shall be responsible for putting forward policies and strategies to enhance international economic integration, improve the competitiveness of the national economy, and promote cooperation and linkages with countries around the world.
