Viet Nam became the third largest tuna exporter to Russia (after Thailand and China) in the first three months of the year.

The exports of frozen tuna earned US$1.58 million, accounting for 95%of the total.

The Viet Nam-Eurasia Economic Union (EEU) Free Trade Agreement inked on May 29 with the commitments of zero tariff imposed on Viet Nam’s seafood exported to the EEU will create more opportunities for Viet Nam to raise its seafood exports to the EEU.
