Trinh Viet Hung appointed as Standing Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment
VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has appointed Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee as Standing Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

Standing Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Trinh Viet Hung
Trinh, aged 49, is a member of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment is currently led by Politburo member, Minister Tran Duc Thang, who is assisted by Trinh Viet Hung, Nguyen Hoang Hiep, Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa, Tran Thanh Nam, Le Cong Thanh, Phung Duc Tien, Nguyen Quoc Tri, Hoang Trung, Vo Van Hung, and Dang Ngoc Diep as Deputy Ministers.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment was established in 2025 through merging the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment./.
