Director of the Viet Nam Customs Nguyen Van Tho said that the US$900 billion milestone reaffirmed Viet Nam's status as a highly open economy with deep global integration and strengthening competitiveness in international trade. He credited the achievement to the Party's strategic leadership, the Government's resolute management, and the joint efforts of ministries, sectors, and the business community.

Looking ahead, the customs sector will continue advancing administrative reform, modernization, and digital transformation, while enhancing risk control and anti-fraud systems, cutting inspection rates, and promoting corporate compliance.
