The top Vietnamese legislator is accompanied by Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung, Vice President of the National Assembly Nguyen Doan Anh, Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau, General Secretary of the National Assembly and Chairman of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh, Chairman of the National Assembly Committee for Cultural and Social Affairs Nguyen Dac Vinh, Chairman of the National Assembly Committee for Economic and Financial Affairs Phan Van Mai, Chairwoman of the National Assembly Committee for Science, Technology an Environment Nguyen Thanh Hai, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Committee for Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Vu Hai Ha, Vice Chairman of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Minister of National Defense Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Van Tuyen, Standing Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Minh Vu, and Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc.
This is the first official visit to China by Tran Thanh Man in his capacity as President of the 16th National Assembly.
The visit aims to further concretize Viet Nam's foreign policy adopted at the 14th National Party Congress, contributing to enhancing the effectiveness of legislative cooperation between the two countries.
During the visit, Tran will co-chair the second session of the Cooperation Committee between the Vietnamese National Assembly and the Chinese NPC./.
