Both sides hailed the positive developments in the bilateral ties over the past 50 years and reiterated their resolve to enhance political trust by maintaining high-level and other exchanges and visits, make effective use of existing cooperation mechanisms, and effectively implement the Viet Nam-Thailand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

They pledged to reinforce economic, trade, and investment cooperation towards a more efficient manner; further intensify people-to-people exchanges and cooperation in education, culture, tourism, and transport connectivity; and step up local-to-local linkages.
