Top leader hands over promotion decisions to two military Generals

VGP – Deputy Directors of the General Department of Politics of the Viet Nam People’s Army Tran Quang Phuong and Do Can have been promoted from the rank of Lieutenant General to Senior Lieutenant General.

Top leader Nguyen Phu Trong at the ceremony to hand over promotion decisions to the two new Senior Lieutenant Generals.

Party General Secretary, State President Nguyen Phu Trong, who is also Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council and head of the armed forces, on October 26, granted Decisions on promotion to the two military officers.

Trong congratulated the two new Senior Lieutenant Generals, saying the promotion recognizes significant contributions by the two officers to the building and development of Viet Nam’s armed forces and the cause of national construction and defense.

The top leader expressed his belief that the two Senior Lieutenant Generals will continue will continue promoting the VPA’s glorious tradition, upholding the revolutionary virtue and loyalty to the Party, Fatherland and people, and exerting every effort to serve the Fatherland and people.
