The top Vietnamese leader's participation in the Francophonie summit aims to affirm Viet Nam's role as a key member of the Francophonie community in Asia-Pacific, as well as Viet Nam's active and responsible engagement in the activities of the Francophonie community in particular and the international community at large, thus contributing to consolidating and strengthening multilateralism and international cooperation and solidarity.
This also marks the first visit by a Vietnamese President to France over the past 22 years, which aims to deepen the Viet Nam-France strategic partnership./.
