Thirty-five people test positive for COVID-19

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 35 new COVID-19 cases, including 33 domestic infections on Thursday morning, raising the national caseload to 3,658.

The latest local infections include 22 in the central city of Da Nang, four in Ha Noi, three in Bac Ninh, two in Bac Giang, and two in Vinh Phuc.

The imported cases are Vietnamese. One of them was repatriated from Poland on April 27 while the other returned to Viet Nam via a border gate in the Southwestern province of An Giang.

The 4th wave of local transmissions broke out in Viet Nam on April 27, with 643 cases having been confirmed in 26 cities and provinces: Da Nang (102), Bac Ninh (127), Ha Noi (196), Bac Giang (83), Vinh Phuc (75), Hung Yen (20), Ha Nam (16), Thai Binh (nine), Hai Duong (seven), Lang Son (six), Hoa Binh (five), Thua Thien-Hue (four), Quang Tri (three), Quang Nam (three), Nam Dinh (three), Dak Lak (two), Dien Bien (two), Quang Ninh (two), Hai Phong (one), Nghe An (one), Thanh Hoa (one), Quang Ngai, Dong Nai (one), HCMC (one), Yen Bai (one), and Phu Tho (one)./.
