The letters were sent by the Party Central Committee, President To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, and Permanent Member of the Party Secretariat Luong Cuong.
The leaders of the Party and State of Viet Nam said they hope to work with partner countries to continue fulfilling the late Party General Secretary's wish to deepen the friendship and cooperation between Viet Nam and partner countries, meeting the interests of the people of each country and contributing to peace, cooperation and prosperity in the region and the world.
Leaders and friends from 103 countries and territories and 32 organizations worldwide sent nearly 500 letters, telegrams, and messages of condolences to Viet Nam's top leaders and the family of the Vietnamese Party leader.
Meanwhile, 100 international delegations paid tribute to the late party leader in Viet Nam and more than 3,500 delegations paid respects to him at Vietnamese representative agencies around the world.
