State President receives Brunei Prince

VGP – State President Tran Dai Quang on May 18 hosted a reception for Brunei Prince Pengiran Muda Abdul Qawi, who led an international business delegation to seek investment opportunities in the central province of Thanh Hoa.

The State President hailed the developments in multi-faced relations between Viet Nam and Brunei over recent years, especially in such areas as politics, economics, culture, sports, education and training.

Viet Nam will cooperate with all the nations in the world and support Brunei businesses as well as other foreign investors in Viet Nam, he affirmed.

The two sides have exchanged high-ranking delegations, reached a number of cooperative mechanisms and inked bilateral agreements, he said, adding that they need to take measures to accelerate the effective cooperation in this field.  

He affirmed potentials of Thanh Hoa Province such as its natural resources, labor capacity and competitiveness index.

Prince Pengiran Muda Abdul Qawi said investment areas, including energy, infrastructure and industrial parks, will be invested by investors from Canada, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Spain in Viet Nam in general and in Thanh Hoa Province, in particular.
