Seventeen countries recognize Viet Nam's vaccine passport

VGP – Viet Nam has reached agreement on mutual recognition of vaccine passports with 17 countries, according to Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang.

These countries are the U.S., the UK, Japan, Australia, Belarus, India, Cambodia, the Philippines, Maldives, Palestine, Turkey, Egypt, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Singapore, Saint Lucia and the Republic of Korea, Le said Monday.

In addition, Viet Nam has temporarily accepted vaccine certificates of 79 countries and territories, she added.

The mutual recognition of vaccine passports/certificates aims to facilitate travel between Viet Nam and countries around the world as Viet Nam began to reopen borders to foreign arrivals from last November and fully resumed international tourism from March 15./.
