Sapa recognized as national tourism site

The Lao Cai provincial People’s Committee was assigned to work with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, and relevant ministries and agencies to organize a ceremony to announce the decision with a view to advertising the local tourism potentials and attracting more tourists to Sapa.

They were urged to re-arrange the management, exploitation, and development of Sapa tourism site; and submit a proposal of appropriate tourism development policies for the new tourism site to the PM for decision.
