Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son made the above statement while addressing the banquet marking the 76th anniversary of the Viet Nam-China relations that took place in Ha Noi on January 16.

Over the past 76 years, the two Parties, States, and peoples have stood shoulder to shoulder, providing each other with great and valuable support, contributing to each side's national development process, noted the Vietnamese official.

The Deputy Prime Minister hailed the Viet Nam–China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, notably stronger political trust, more substantive promotion of security and defense cooperation, more robust development of economic, trade, and investment ties, and more vibrant people-to-people exchanges.

He expressed his belief that the bilateral ties will continue to develop towards a more sustainable manner, for the happiness of their peoples and for the peace and progress of humankind.

Chinese Ambassador to Viet Nam He Wei emphasized that China stands ready to work with Viet Nam to ceaselessly enhance the effectiveness of building a Viet Nam–China community with a shared future.

The Ambassador expected that the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam will be a great success, opening an era of strong national advancement for Viet Nam and a new and bright chapter in China–Viet Nam friendship./.
