The Government chief made the request while chairing a meeting to review the implementation of the campaign in the central region. He stressed that although this is a campaign without gunfire, it must be won decisively.
Specifically, damaged houses must be repaired no later than December 31, 2025, while collapsed and destroyed houses must be rebuilt by January 31, 2026.
The campaign involves rebuilding 1,622 houses and repairing 35,731 others.
The Prime Minister noted that only 14 days remain for house repairs and one and a half months for rebuilding houses. He called on localities to step up efforts, especially Gia Lai and Dak Lak to finalize the campaign on schedule.
He also urged the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to actively support local communities by providing manpower to help people rebuild their homes. At the same time, he appealed for mutual assistance among the public.
The Prime Minister requested that before December 20, localities must compile statistics on community facilities—including community houses, health stations, and cultural houses—that require repair and remediation, and report to the Government.

Historic floods and landslides from November 16 to 22 caused severe damage to people in the Central and Central Highlands localities. On December 1, 2025, the Quang Trung Campaign was launched under the Prime Minister's directive in Ha Tinh, Quang Trị, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Lam Dong provinces to ensure that flood-hit families have safe housing before Tet (Lunar New Year).
The Ministry of National Defense mobilized 5,627 officers and soldiers, including regular troops and militia, along with 254 vehicles of various types, to rebuild 382 houses destroyed by storms and floods.
