Prime Minister visits Turkish Aerospace Industries
VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Thursday visited the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) - the world’s 69th largest arms company, headquartered in Ankara.

TAI was established on June 28, 1973 under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Technology in order to reduce the foreign dependency in defense industry of Turkey
Today, TAI has become Turkey's center of technology in design, development, modernization, manufacturing, integration and life cycle support of integrated aerospace systems, from fixed and rotary wing air platforms to UAVs and satellites.
TAI representatives attended the Viet Nam Defense 2022 hosted by the Ministry of National Defense of Viet Nam.
At the working session with TAI leaders, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly values Turkey's capacity to develop its own defense industry and thanks Turkey's assistance and cooperation with Viet Nam in this domain.
