During the visit, Pham is expected to hold talks with his Luxembourger counterpart Xavier Bettel, attend the Viet Nam-Luxembourg business forum, and have bilateral meetings with other leaders of Luxembourg.
Luxembourg is Viet Nam's third largest investor in the European Union, with total registered capital of US$2.6 billion, and one of the first EU member countries to have ratify the EU-Viet Nam Investment Protection Agreement.
The two-way trade has grown rapidly since the EU-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement came into effect on August 1, 2020.
Luxembourg regards Viet Nam as one of the priority countries receiving official development assistance, with €129 million to date.
Both sides are exchanging ways to promote cooperation in such fields like eco-agriculture and climate change adaptation./.
