Prime Minister signs Condolence Book on demise of Japan’s former Prime Minister Abe

The Embassy of Japan in Viet Nam announced to open a condolence book for late Prime Minister Abe Shinzo from 9am to 5:15pm on July 11 and 12.

Earlier on July 8, on behalf of the leaders of the Party, State and people of Viet Nam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a message of condolences to his Japanese counterpart Kishida Fumio over the death of Japan's former Prime Minister Abe Shinzo. In his message, Prime Minister Pham conveyed his deepest condolences to the Government and people of Japan and Abe's family; expressing his sincere appreciation to Abe's special sentiments, support and asssistance for Viet Nam as well as for the Viet Nam-Japan Extensive Strategic Partnership. Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son also cabled a message of condolences to Japanese Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa.

Abe, Japan's longest-serving Prime Minister, died on Friday at the age of 67.
