The Prime Minister expressed his delight at the achievements in the bilateral ties, suggesting both nations facilitate all-level delegation exchanges to strengthen political trust and create new cooperation opportunities.

He called on Qatari businesses and investment funds to expand their operation in Viet Nam in areas of oil and gas, infrastructure, agriculture and green ports as well as newly-emerging sectors like green technology, semiconductor and electric vehicles.

Both sides should enhance discussions and negotiations to finalize and sign cooperation agreements on consular affairs, trade, investment, locality-to-locality and people-to-people links, thus creating a favorable legal framework to deepen and diversify the bilateral relationship, he suggested.

The host underscored the importance of settling disputes via peaceful means based on respect for international law, for the sake of global and regional peace, cooperation and development.

The two countries should further enhance mutual support and consultation at multilateral forums and promote the role of the ASEAN-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), recommended the Prime Minister .

Al-Muraikhi, who is on an official visit to Viet Nam for the third political consultation between the two foreign ministries, agreed with the Prime Minister's proposals.

He said, during the political consultation, both sides discussed and proposed specific measures to boost bilateral ties, especially in politics-diplomacy, investment, trade, oil and gas, infrastructure, agriculture, Halal industry, labor, culture, education-training, and people-to-people exchange.

Qatar stands ready to step up mutual support at multilateral forums amidst global challenges and difficulties, he stated.

He agreed with the Prime Minister's view on the importance of addressing disputes via peaceful means in line with international law to promote global and regional cooperation, peace and stability, for the development and prosperity of both nations.

Both sides pledged to promptly hold the third Joint Committee meeting to conduct a comprehensive review of bilateral collaboration and develop a program for Viet Nam-Qatar cooperation across all areas in the near future./.
