Addressing the ASEAN-India Summit, Prime Minister Pham highly valued India's role and contributions to advancing regional cooperation, upholding the voice of developing countries in global agenda.
PHam affirmed that Viet Nam supports India's deployment of its Act East Policy and enhancement of comprehensive and substantive cooperation with ASEAN.
In a bid to further advance the relations between ASEAN and India, the Vietnamese Prime Minister suggested that both sides should strengthen economic connectivity and promote comparative advantages and role of their business communities, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises.
Both sides need to increase investment in high technology, renewable energy, infrastructure, logistics, artificial intelligence, semiconductor while fostering Mekong-Ganga cooperation to narrow development gap, and expanding people-to-people exchanges and cooperation in education and training, healthcare, culture and tourism.
He called for India's continued support for ASEAN's positions on the East Sea issue, and for peace, security, safety, freedom of navigation and aviation, and peaceful resolution of disputes in line with international law, especially the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS 1982).
Pham affirmed that Viet Nam will continue close collaboration with ASEAN Member States and India in bolstering practical cooperation for peace, stability and sustainable development in the region and the world.
Following the Summit, leaders of the ASEAN Member States and India issued a Joint Statement on sustainable tourism, in which they reiterate their resolve to boost substantive, inclusive and sustainable cooperation in the new period.

Speaking at the ASEAN-U.S. Summit, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated President Donald Trump on the U.S. remarkable achievements over the recent past and highly valued Trump's diplomatic efforts in promoting dialogues and peaceful resolution of conflicts in the world.
Pham especially appreciated President Trump's collaboration with Malaysia as the current ASEAN Chair and other ASEAN Member States to assist Cambodia and Thailand in resuming dialogues and negotiations, and signing the Joint Declaration on peace.

Prime Minister Pham suggested ASEAN and the U.S. boost economic, trade and investment connectivity in a balanced, harmonious and sustainable manner; advance cooperation in digital transformation, innovation and energy safety; reinforce cooperation in fighting cybercrime and transnational crime; step up cooperation in maintaining peace, security and stability in the region.
Pham said both ASEAN and the U.S. share interests and responsibilities in maintaining peace, stability, security and development in the region, including the East Sea, for the benefits of all countries and people in the region.
Concluding the Summit, leaders of the ASEAN Member States and the U.S. issued a Joint Vision Statement to promote a stronger, safer and more prosperous future for both regions./.
