Prime Minister leads Steering Committee for macroeconomic management and administration

The Committee is headed by the Prime Minister, who is assisted by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc as the permanent deputy head and Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang as deputy head.

Members of the Committee include Governor of the State Bank of Viet Nam Nguyen Thi Hong, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Duc Thang, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung, Minister of Home Affairs Do Thanh Binh and Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son.

The Committee is an intersectoral coordinating body that assists the Government and the Prime Minister in directing relevant agencies and localities to address important and cross-sectoral issues in macroeconomic management and administration nationwide./.
