Prime Minister demands all-out efforts on flood control, evacuation in Bac Giang

VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh arrived in the northern province of Bac Giang to inspect flood control and rescue work as many areas in the locality have been under floodwater.

Prime Minister Pham visted Van Ha communue in Viet Yen town where 9,000 residents are being isolated due to typhoon Yagi-induced flood.

Pham urged the local authorities to make all-out efforts on flood control and evacuation to protect the life and property of the people.

Local authorities also need to ensure traffic safety, especially in deeply inundated areas and areas with high risk of landslides.
