Prime Minister hosts reception for Sojitz Corp President
VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Friday hosted a reception for Fujimoto Masayoshi President/CEO at Sojitz Corp in Hiroshima as part of his ongoing tour tou Japan to attend the expanded G7 Summit.

Fujimoto thanked the Government of Viet Nam for assisting his company to have overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, pledging that his company will continue long-term investment in the Southeast Asian country.
Fujimoto said many Japanese enterprises want to expand investment in, or relocate production to Viet Nam.
Prime Minister Pham spoke highly of Sojitz's expansion of investment in building industrial parks in Viet Nam, which is in line with the country's renewed orientations for foreign investment attraction.
Pham said the Vietnamese Government has approved the national power development plan for the 2021-2030, vision to 2050, giving priority to renewable energy development.
The Government also tasked competent authorities to work out a mechanism for direct power purchase between renewable energy producers and customers./.
