The event saw the participation of Minister of Naitonal Defense Phan Van Giang, Minister of Public Security To Lam, and Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung.
Addressing the event, Pham highly appreciated and praised the officers and soldiers of the Army Corps 12 and participating forces for successfully completing the contents of the exercise, ensuring absolute safety of people and weapons, with the use of many weapons and equipment improved and produced by Viet Nam.
He requested the forces to continue implementing resolutions, strategies, and directions of the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense on military and national defense.
Pham underlined the need to improve the quality of training, and combat readiness, and identify drills and training as the key and regular tasks, asking for stepping up research and application of science and technology and modern technical means.

This is the first live-fire exercise that the Army Corps 12 has conducted after it was established earlier this month with the merging of Army Corps 1 and 2.
