Prime Minister arrives in Phnom Penh, starting two-day visit to Cambodia
VGP – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has arrived in Phnom Penh, staring his two-day official visit to Cambodia at the invitation of his Cambodian counterpart Samdech Techo Hun Sen.
Pham is accompanied by Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Thang, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung, Minister-Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs Hau A Lenh, Governor of the State Bank of Viet Nam Nguyen Thi Hong, Deputy Minister of National Defense Vu Hai San, Deputy Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang, Ambassador of Viet Nam to Cambodia Nguyen Huy Tang among others. He was welcomed at the Phnom Penh International Airport by Cambodian Minister of Tourism Thong Khon, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Soeung Rathchavy, and Cambodian Ambassador to Viet Nam Chay Navuth. Photo: VGP
On the first day of the visit, Pham is expected to meet with President of the Cambodian Senate Samdech Say Chhum, President of the Cambodian National Assembly Samdech Heng Samrin and pay a courtesy call on King of Cambodia Norodom Sihamoni. Photo: VGP
