Prime Minister appoints two new Deputy Foreign Ministers

Nguyen Hoang Long, aged 50, began his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1999. He served as Ambassador of Viet Nam to Italy from 2012 to 2025, and to the UK from June 2021 to October 2024.

On October 6, 2024, he was appointed as Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. 

The Prime Minister also appointed Nguyen Thi Hoang Van as Deputy Foreign Minister.

Nguyen Thi Hoang Van, aged 56, was promoted to the new role from her previous position as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies./.
