President welcomes newly accredited Ambassadors

At his reception for Pakistani Ambassador, President To afffirmed Viet Nam attaches importance to its relations with Pakistan.
He asked the ambassador to work closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant agencies of Viet Nam to further strengthen partnerships in economy, trade, science - technology, culture, tourism, and people-to-people ties.
Viet Nam always encourages and is ready to provide favorable conditions for Pakistani businesses to invest in the Southeast Asian country, especially in such areas as information technology, textile - garment, tourism, and food processing, To said.
In reply, Ambassador Kohdayar Marri pledged to boost partnership in such areas as economy, culture, education, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges during his working term in Viet Nam.
The diplomat expressed his wish that Viet Nam will act as a bridge to help foster the relations between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Pakistan in the time ahead.

During the reception for Mozambican Ambassador Ilundi Dos Santos, President To affirmed that Viet Nam always treasures and wants to intensify the traditional friendship with Mozambique, one of its leading partners in Africa.
The President urged the ambassador to work with relevant agencies of Viet Nam to strengthen cooperation in such fields like politics, economy, culture, defense, security, and people-to-people diplomacy.

As the two countries will celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2025, President To asked Santos to work with Vietnamese agencies to boost practical and meaningful activities marking this important event.

At the reception for Timor-Leste Ambassador Joao Pereira, President To said that Viet Nam wishes to maintain the sound cooperative relations with Timor-Leste.
He suggested the two sides reinforce bilateral cooperation in such fields as agriculture, telecommunications, education, oil and gas.
The President urged the two countries to continue implementation of the signed agreements and encourage their investors to carry out programs and projects./.
