PM visits modern rural communes, VSIP in Nghe An

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc on August 15 visited the new rural communes of Nam Giang in the district of Nam Dan, the central province of Nghe An.

The PM highlighted the program of new rural establishment in the commune which has focused on infrastructure, electricity and roads.

He asked local authorities to pay attention to the transfer of new science and technology, especially in agriculture to create higher production value.

He added that authorities in Nam Dan need to take advantage of industrial zones and parks to increase incomes for local people.

PM Phuc stressed the importance of protecting the environment and ensuring social order and safety.  

Earlier, the PM visited Viet Nam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) in Nghe An Province, whose  construction started in September last year.

The VSIP is located on the area of 750 ha, including 370 ha for industrial production and 380 ha for urban areas.

PM Phuc required speeding up the progress of the project and advertising its advantages and preferential to investors.

He expected that the VSIP will be launched effectively to become a bridge to connect Viet Nam and Singapore.
