The PM made that statement at the teleconference on promotion of the National Single Window (NSW) and ASEAN Single Window (ASW) and trade facilitation in Ha Noi on July 24.

He asked the Ministry of Finance to urgently complete and submit the Decree and Action Plan of the Government on promotion of the NSW and ASW and trade facilitation, which must propose intensive, practical and effective reforms, especially in fields of management on export and import items to boost export and import activities and international and regional trade.

Besides trade facilitation, the PM stressed the need to control and prevent trade fraud, smuggling and protection of people’s health, including export and import commodities.

The Government leader requested agencies at all levels to focus on pillars in reform and overcome obstacles raised by delegates at the teleconference.

All agencies must join hand to improve the business and investment environment and the national competitive capacity as well as support sustainable development, he said.

The PM required reducing shipments subject to specialized inspection to below 15% but still meeting demand of the State management agencies and ensuring people’s health.

He demanded simplify and eliminate 50% of goods, products and procedures subject to specialized inspection.

The Chairmen of provinces and cities’ People’s Committee are tasked to closely coordinate with other relevant agencies to direct and supervise the implementation of NSW and ASW and trade facilitation.
