The Vietnamese Government leader congratulated Mozambique on its first time serving as the non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the 2023-2024 tenure.
The cooperative potential between the two nations is huge, Pham noted, asserting that Viet Nam is willing to share development, diplomacy and integration experience with Mozambique.
He suggested both sides strengthen delegation exchanges, particularly high level ones, via Party, State and people-to-people exchange channels.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to uphold the effectiveness of the bilateral inter-governmental committee and continue support each other at multi-lateral forums.
He asked Mozambique to advocate the stance of Viet Nam and ASEAN on peacefully handling disputes and ensuring safety and freedom of aviation and navigation in the East Sea.
He urged the two sides to work together to raise the bilateral trade, diversify supply chains and closely coordinate to implement next phases of agricultural projects in Mozambique as well as enhancing cooperation in education, health, energy, processing industry, culture and tourism.
For her part, the Mozambican legislator spoke highly of the role of Viet Nam in the region and the world, especially within ASEAN and the United Nations frameworks, voicing her support for the position of Viet Nam and ASEAN on the East Sea issue.
Mozambique regards Viet Nam as one of its top crucial partners in Asia, she underscored, appraising cooperative activities between the two countries in agriculture and telecommunications, she said./.
